Mr. Scott Mackinaw, MBA

Chief Executive Officer

Scott Mackinaw is a seasoned Finance Executive, bringing over 30 years of accounting, finance, treasury, and operational experience. His roles over the last 20 years consists of management and executive management roles in the corporate environment. Scott has worked in government, non-profit, technology, and manufacturing industries, and his latest role as Vice President Finance of a Member Association and it’s sister Foundation. He began his career in local city government over 35 years ago and from there moving into non-profits and finally into the corporate environment consisting of both public and private organizations. He served as the Controller and Director of Finance for two separate software startup companies where he implemented company policies and procedures, HR policies, budgets and software recognition revenue models. In 2007, he began his role as Controller for a startup medical device company, eventually moving into the Vice President Finance and Operations executive role where his work consisted mostly of strategic development, direction and implementation. However, his role was not limited to strategy. His responsibilities included, Finance, Administration, Budgeting, FP&A, HR, Operations, Insurance Reimbursement, and Regulatory. Scott graduated from the University of Alabama, Birmingham with a B.S. in Investment and Financial Management. He furthered his education at the University of Dallas where he earned his MBA in Corporate Finance and Accounting.
